An E Track system is perfect for preventing your gear from getting damaged while in transit. It can keep rolling items stationary and get tools, cans, and other loose items up off the floor. You can install the E Track on the wall or floor of your enclosed trailer, pickup truck bed, cargo van, delivery truck, semi-trailer, flatbed trailer, or other type of work or recreational vehicle. Use screws, bolts, or rivets (not included) to mount the E Track anywhere you want, just make sure you're drilling or screwing into a wood or metal surface with a solid backing.
E Track isn't just for your mobile application. You can mount it in your garage, workshop, basement, storage shed, barn, stable, or other stationary location. It's great for storing tools, cans, cables, and other items you have laying around. You can install the track on the wall or on the floor, exactly where you need it. Please note that E Track is only as strong as the wall you are mounting it on. For best results, make sure the track is level and install the hardware directly into the studs.
There are a wide variety of specialized accessories (sold separately) that make E Track one of the most versatile anchoring and storage options available. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Buyers Products horizontal etrack in gun metal gray, powder-coated steel. Now etrack has been around for a while now, and is a great accessory to have inside your enclosed trailer, maybe on a car hauler, or something like that to tie down any kind of cargo, whether that's a toolbox, a motorcycle, ATV, pretty much anything that you'd want to tie down this is going to make a great anchor point for that.We'll have this five foot long track. It's also available in a two foot length, which is a separate part number. But it's going to offer us many different attachment points for any of our etrack accessories. Those can be anything from tool holders, D-rings, just round rings like these, and basically there'll be a little tong that you'll have to bring back and then slip that into the track, releasing the little handle and that'll hold securely in place.Now we have a quick and easy anchor points to tie down any of our straps, cables, rope, anything that we might be using. We can have two of them as close together as two inches.
Each attachment point is two inches apart. Or as far apart as we need it to be. So it's a very versatile track system to have anywhere you need it to be, whether that's again, in a trailer or maybe at a shop somewhere that you need to strap things up to the wall. It makes a great sort of organizational tool. So pretty versatile.The thing that I like about this track from Buyers is this nice gunmetal gray coating.
Most of them that I've seen have just been the aluminum finish and their silver, which is fine, but this gives it kind of a nice texture. It's a little bit more matte finish, a little darker, so it just looks pretty sleek and modern.It's made of a carbon steel construction, so it's going to be very durable. Whenever you're mounting this though, you will want to make sure that you attach this very securely. We'll have mounting holes every two inches, again, just like our etrack attachment points. So you want to make sure that you get maybe not a stud in every single hole but at least every other one or a good amount of them.
And if you're putting this on the wall you want to put it into a stud somewhere really secure if we're going to be using a lot of weight with this.So just keep that in mind that any weight capacity is going to be determined on the kind of hardware you use and how you mount it. Now, there's no hardware included with this, so you will have to pick that up on your own. So that's going to really depend on again on your application. But very adjustable, very versatile system. This track length is going to be five feet long.
Again, it is available as two foot long. That part number is going to be 3371903052. These are also sold separately.As far as the other dimensions with their track, it's going to be five inches wide. When I measured it, it was closer to about 5-1/4 inches. The width of the kind of bumped up portion here is about 3-3/4. The height over all that it's going to stand from the ground is about half an inch. So even if you're driving over it or just have it in an area where are you going to walk over it, not too obtrusive there.This product is also made in the USA, which is always a nice thing to know about your products. And that's what I do it for our look at the Buyers Products horizontal etrack in gunmetal gray.

The two main things that matter with these, 1) they are made very well 2) the holes are formed properly and are the right size for the hardware to lock-in easily and securely. etrailer packs them well so they show up in good condition. Definitely worth the time and investment in your trailer!

The e-track tie downs were seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made. I have a 72 corvette that I haul to shows and other places. It’s a nightmare to try to tie it down with just straps. The e-track system made it easy. I also use it to tie down my commercial mower. I highly recommend this product
It was exactly what it said. It works great and installed to the trailer easily. I like the color as well. No structural issues or e-track fit issues. I tie down tires and tool boxes with them with no issues.
After being back ordered for several weeks the e-track and other items arrived. I was kept informed of the process during this period and all was excellent. Can’t say enough about the customer service provided.
Just installing the track now and the tie downs look to be just as I expected. Will use soon.
